TJS RED ANGUS is a family ran operation by Tim, Julie, and Cash Shick and Tim’s parents Jim and Carlene Shick.  We are located in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains 20 miles Southwest of Lodge Grass, MT. We have slowly been growing our registered herd since 1987.  It all started by purchasing a few registered Red Angus calves as 4-H projects.  As years went by the commercial cows were sold and replaced with more Registered Red Angus females.

Our numbers have gradually increased over the years by keeping replacements and purchasing  select females from progressive herds.  Over the years we have strived to raise cattle that are moderate, thick, and have good carcass traits as well as great maternal strength and good dispositions.
In the last 11 years our program has evolved and we have switched from a spring calving program to a summer program.  The bulls we offer in our early February sale are coming 2 year olds. NEW THIS YEAR to our program  in 2022 we decided to help accommodate our customers needs and PAP Test all of our bulls.  We hope that will be a useful tool to our customers who are challenged by that situation. 

Our annual Bull Sale is held each year on the first Friday in February in Buffalo, WY.
